Restorative & Mindful Yoga
This workshop will introduce simple exercises and ways to use the breath to relax. This is a class to achieve a peaceful state of mind, rather than force a stretch or a fancy asana. It will be your time to unwind and let go, creating self-awareness and transformation. Meditation to relieve pain, reduce stress and enhance wellness. By integrating the breath with the movement of the body, we are able to come more fully into the present moment- a practice that is helpful when life gets chaotic. Mindfulness is a meditative process that quiets the mind and releases physical distress. So many of us live challenging, stressful lives, with too much work, lack of sleep. Plenty of us sacrifice healthy eating habits for “lack of time” and eventually our bodies cry out for help, but we not always know how to care for ourselves.
Through mindfulness you can experience greater vitality and well-being in the present moment, and learn how to achieve comfort, enjoy truly deep and conscious breathing.
